Master your WordPress database optimization with our step-by-step guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is it safe to delete "Orphaned" options?
A: Generally, yes. Orphaned options are leftovers from plugins you have already deleted. However, we always recommend capturing a Backup before performing bulk deletions.
Q: Is it safe to delete "Unknown" options?
A: "Unknown" simply means our database doesn't recognize the prefix. Inspect the data value; if it looks like an old plugin, it is likely safe. Always make a full backup first.
Q: What does "Toggle Autoload" do?
A: It keeps the data in your database but stops WordPress from loading it on every visit. This saves memory on your front-end for options only needed in the admin dashboard.
Q: I deleted something by mistake! Can I get it back?
A: Yes! Restore it from the Trash Tab or use the Dashboard Restore if you performed a bulk clean after a backup.
Q: What is the "Signature File"?
A: It contains a snapshot of known states. Use it to re-apply optimization settings to this site or replicate them on another website.
Q: How do I contribute new signatures?
A: We love contributors! Submit a Pull Request to our GitHub repository with any newly verified plugin prefixes to help the whole community.
Q: How do I know which options are "Memory Hogs"?
A: Focus on the "Top 5" identified on your dashboard. Optimizing these largest autoloaded options yields the biggest speed gains.
